A great place on the promenade. The staff was friendly and on the ball. We ordered 4 different dishes and were absolutely delighted with all of them. Fresh and tasty and attractively presented. We would love to come back!

Very nice staff. Service quick and food was delicious. Definitely recommendable. The only downside is that there isn't enough seating inside.

10.2020 | After we tried to get something to eat at the boat harbor (no comment) we strolled to Groyne 8. Very warm staff, first class service, really good food. I had the pumpkin soup with prawn from the menu of the day, very tasty. The blueberry cake also found a very grateful customer. Because we liked it so much at lunchtime, we went straight back there in the evening to end with cod in mustard sauce and a farmer's breakfast. My tip: go and eat if there is no table, wait, it's worth it. When we come back to Kühlungsborn we will eat there!

The selection of cakes is good and the coffee is okay. Although a table was free from the wind, we had to take a table where not all the sugar grains made it into the glass as windy as it was 😢

We have to get rid of something here ....... We have been regulars at Buhne 8 for years and have never been disappointed. The team works like clockwork and the food is great. A little chat is just as much a part of it as the great service. You will be treated just as friendly and relaxed as you are. To accuse this team of laziness is a huge mistake !!!!!!! It's a special situation for everyone and they deal with it excellently. The guests who complain should actually appreciate these services and then they get 💯% back. We thank this great team. After 2 waitresses passed us 4 (!!) times without looking at us when we stood at the entrance, we were yelled at that the kitchen was already closed. We could not tell the two ladies that we only wanted to have a coffee (45 minutes before closing) because they left immediately. We have never experienced anything like this unfriendly. Lowest level! Masks are worn under the nose ...

If you read the entry from the owner everything is fine. User reality: I have never seen such unfriendly staff. Whining about high losses due to Corona but rejecting paying customers because of laziness. A good addition to tourist attracting. Restaurant not recommended.

Staff should pay attention to the choice of expression and not come across as stupid, it could backfire. Just not to be recommended.

Good evening, was there today with my wife, wanted to drink 2/3 beer, cocktails. When asked if you still had an open job because you would be accompanied to the table (it was 8.30 p.m.) we were answered very unfriendly, saying that it is now even after work and how long I work. I replied that I work from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. Answer Service (became very tepid): Anyone can say this and she doesn't believe it! Unfriendly service (woman) therefore 1 🌟 If you had said in a calm tone what it looks like now and if you should come back tomorrow then this would not have been a problem !!

We wanted to eat there today .... after we came up to the bar without being noticed to inquire whether a table was still available, we were only poked at, we would have to wait outside, someone would come .... unfortunately it wasn't like that we then left .... who does not need to show a certain degree of friendliness; he doesn't get my money🤔

Staff very unfriendly. Just wanted to have a drink at 8 p.m. and we were denied entry although there were enough free spaces available. It is open until 9 p.m.

We were very disappointed. Because of the strong wind, we sat down at a freed table in the slipstream before ordering drinks. We were then insulted by the service and publicly exposed. Then we went.

Great sea view. Great food! Great arranged. We recommend the potato pancakes with salmon! Friendly staff! Unfortunately we only tested it at the end of the holiday. Too bad. But we'll be back next year!

We stopped for a beer and it turned into a dinner. This restaurant surpasses everything we have seen so far in Kühlungsborn, insanely friendly welcome, prompt service always a friendly inquiries and delicious food from the kitchen. Here we return gladly and can recommend this only to all. A very nice thank you for this family-friendly atmosphere.
